Safer Internet Day in Poland
On the Internet
Safety's Day all children from our kindergarten had a lot of fun. Every
group prepared a poster – “What can we do with the mobile phones?”
Children with their parents took part in the contest – “My favorite safe mobile phone's application”. From this we created a list of safe mobile phone's applications for children.
and many more fantastic games. Our goal was to create a bond between children to show them how we can be different or the same and still like and respect each other.

Than the whole kindergarten gathered together
and we:
- were
watching a film about 5 most important rules – how to use the Internet,
- were
dancing with our friends,
- were
playing in "find someone who is just like you”.
and many more fantastic games. Our goal was to create a bond between children to show them how we can be different or the same and still like and respect each other.

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN SURPRISE TV-WATCHERS AS THEY WORK IN NEWS! THEY HAVE FOLLOWED REAL NEWS ANCHORS, MAIJA AND KEKE.
“GOOD
AFTERNOON FROM KENTTIS NEWS…GOOD AFTERNOON!” THE FIRST SPEAKER IS JOSEFINA. SHE
LOOKS STRAIGHT TO CAMERA BY TELLING: “HYVINKÄÄ WILL TURN 100 YEARS THIS YEAR”.
HERE YOU
SEE HOW NEWS FROM “KENTTIS” IS GOING. THERE IS A REPORTER-PART, WHERE CHILDREN
ASK FROM EACH OTHERS ABOUT THEIR FAVOURITE PLACES AND HOBBIES. ANYONE OF THE
GROUP HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE A REPORTER. KINDERGARDENTEACHER SUSANNA VELAMA
IS IN CHARGE OF FILMING.
“WE HAVE AN
EU ERASMUS+-PROJECT, WHERE WE FOCUS ON MEDIA EDUCATION. WE HAVE FOLLOWED NEWS
AND CHILDREN HAVE NOTICED THAT YOU NEED TO SIT CALM AND SPEAK CLEARLY ON TV. I’M
VERY HAPPY TO NOTICE THAT ALSO SHY CHILDREN WOULD LIKE TO BE A REPORTERS”, SAYS
SUSANNA VELAMA.
THERE IS
ALSO A GUEST IN STUDIO AND THIS TIME IT IS MR MIKA TOMMOLA FROM NATIONAL
MTV-NEWS. JOSEFINA AND LARI HAVE A STRICT QUESTION: “DO YOU FEEL EXCITED WHEN
YOU WORK ON TV?”
“YES, IT’S
ALWAYS A BIT EXCITING, BUT IT ALSO KEEPS YOU SHARP!”, ANSWERS MIKA TOMMOLA. THEN MIKA ASKS FROM JOSEFINA: “DO YOU FEEL EXCITED NOW?” “NO!”, SAYS JOSEFINA.
THEN ABOUT
WEATHER: JOSEFINA AND LARI LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW AND TELL WHAT THEY SEE. THAT’S
IT. THEN IT’S TIME FOR A NICE ENDING OF THE NEWS; THE WHOLE PRESCHOOL GROUP
SING AND IN THE END OF THE NEWS BOTH NEWS ANCHORS CLAP THEIR PAPERS ON THE TABLE, JUST LIKE IN
REAL NEWS ON TV.
